so our golden letter 'll be (s
& as HSV primary infection occur between age of 5 months to 5 years so our golden NO. 'll be( 5

1.Typical dendritic ulcers (5s)

1.shape.....linear
       branching
      ending in knobs
2.superficial ......never perforate
                        never vascularize
3.stain.....double .....Flourescene
                Rose pingal
4.sensation...decrease

5.severe episodes( recurrent)

2.Atypical ( non classical ) ulcers:

1.atypical size (increase in size)....geographical or ameaboid  ulcer ..... due to use of topical steroids

2. atypical depth(increase in depth)( ulcer sink)....due to secondary bacterial infection or steroids

3.atypical site ....limbic ( as it's mostly central)

4. 2 stromal lesions (2D).....Disciform keratitis....resolve without scar
                                       Deep necrotizing keratitis...heal with.dense scarring & heavy vascularization

5.Spread of virus to uveal tract & TM.....anterior uveitis &trabeculitis
