CP of toxicology
اسطمبة د/ شيرين

اللي بين قوسين دي الحاجات اللي مش بتبقى دايما موجودة يعني ساعات وساعات على حسب التوكسين

GIT
nausea, vomiting, colic, diarrhea (or constipation)

Heart
decrease BP, decrease pulse, arrest (arrythmia)

Sensory nervous system (stimulation then depression)
stinging, numbness, hypertension, hyperthermia

Motor nervous system (stimulation then depression)
twitches, respiratory muscles paralysis = peripheral asphyxia

CNS (stimulation) CHAIR
convulsions
hyperthermia & hyperreflexia
anxiety
irritability
restlessness


CNS (depression)
coma, cyanosis, respiratory center depression = central asphyxia

Liver
pain & tenderness in hypochondrium
jaundice & bleeding
increase bilirubin
& enzymes
increase thrombin time
decrease albumin


Kidney
oliguria with ABC (albumin + blood + casts)
then anuria
